The Hyundai HB20 is a compact car model produced and sold by Hyundai Motor, a Brazilian spin-off chain of Hyundai Motors. First released in 2012, a total of second generation models have been released to date.
The HB20 is sold mainly in the Brazilian market and is considered an economical and fuel-efficient vehicle. In terms of design, it is similar to other Hyundai models such as Ioniq designed in Europe, and in particular, full LED headlamps and economical prices are gaining popularity.
The HB20 has a wide range of engines. Gasoline engines have 1.0 and 1.6 litres, especially the 1.0 T-GDI engine, which produces a maximum output of 120 horsepower and a maximum torque of 17.5 kgm. The diesel engine also uses a 1.6-liter engine and can be fitted with a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission.
The interior design gives a simple yet sophisticated look. Technical options on board include an 8-inch touchscreen display, Bluetooth and USB connections, rear cameras, smart keys, and safety features such as ABS and EBD braking systems and automatic emergency braking.
